Our tablemate at luncheon (yes, that’s right, I said luncheon! It’s on the menu…) told us about being hailed by a fellow motorist at a traffic light near his home in Melbourne. Being accommodating, he rolled down his window and the fellow said to him, “Oh, is this Sandringham Road?” When he replied that yes, it was, the guy said
“Well, can you move over then and let me have a bit of it too?” Beats getting the bird, doesn’t it?!
