Australian money is really fun!! It feels like using play money. The bills (the smallest denomination of which is $5) are plastic! I am told that you can wash them and they will be just fine and they are so pretty.
The coins – well, they are weird. They have a 50 cent piece that is huge and thick, the rest a more normal 20, 10 and 5. The cool things are the 1 dollar and 2 dollar coins. The smallest coin in the picture is the $2 one.
