Tarawera Lake – Monday, December 13th

Outside of Rotarua up in the hills we were shown some beautiful lakes. One of these was Tarawera Lake; sadly the café was closed as we would have liked to have lingered. Our guide said ‘Now we’re going to go up to these lakes, some are green and some are blue, and when we get there you can read all about it I suppose’. !! Something to be said for the motivation of tipping!!
