We decided on 2 days in the area of South Melbourne named St. Kilda's. It's near the beach and the marina and apparently all the happening nightlife (on a Monday? You kidding?!). I thought I had done a great job of picking our spot out of the entire city, until a native informed us that this was the red light district of old; and mayhap still was in parts. Watch your parts! O dear! Hotel Urban is pretty hip, low level everything and surfaces surfaces surfaces! Which we soon despoiled...
